Reduction of charges: State v. D.F.

Client was charged with 3rd degree felony assault for allegedly participating in a gang fight where the victim received a broken orbital bone in his face.  With the client’s criminal history this offense would put him in prison.  Through investigation Mr. Peterson showed that none of the witnesses could identify the client as having more than minor involvement in the fight.  The client received a misdemeanor assault conviction and no jail time.
